Alright ladies, here’s your chance! I’ve spent most of my life touring the world and living my dreams on a stage, playing music for thousands of people…and after trying a few different things I’m going back to my roots. This summer I’ll be joining my friend Tiffany on our “Journey Through the 80’s” Tour and YOU can be a part of it! 

Let’s start with a few qualifications. Ask yourself:

1. Are you a girl ready to take over the country this summer and hit the road playing some of the best pop music to come out of he 80’s?
2. Do you play acoustic AND electric guitar…WELL?!?
3. Do you sing - well enough to back me up? 
4. Are you really ready? 

If you’ve always dreamed of living my life and you want a shot at joining the “Journey Through the 80’s” tour we’ve got your chance! Simply follow the instructions below to enter my GUITAR SEARCH! Can’t wait to see what you’ve got! 

To Enter:

1. Record a video of yourself playing guitar and singing any of my songs from either “Out of the Blue” or “Electric Youth.” 
2. Post your performance to YouTube.
3. Tweet at me @DebbieGibson with a link to your video and the hash tag      #JourneyThroughthe80’s

4. IMPORTANT: Make sure you are following me on Twitter and keep an eye on your Twitter messages in case I need to contact you back!

The fine print…
All entrants must have the following qualifications: 
a. Be female. b. Have the ability and desire to play guitar and sing backing vocals on stage to thousands. c. Live in the NYC area or have the ability to travel to and from the NYC area for rehearsal and local dates with no compensation for travel locally in NYC/NJ area. Performance and rehearsal salary to be negotiated. Tour crew is based in this area and we are looking for someone that can work from our base city. 
All eligible entries will be viewed and judged based on performance ability. Contest begins 06.28.11 at 5pm PST and ends 07.12.11. Finalists will be chosen on 07.12.11 and must be available for phone interview between 07.12.11 - 07.14.11. Final winner will be announced no later than 07.15.11. Winner MUST be available to be in NYC area July 24-28 and available for national television performance on July 29, 2011. Tour currently encompasses 7 dates but has the option to extend. Current dates span through August.
Winner’s travel and touring costs and per diem will be covered with home base being in NYC area. Any additional travel to and from NYC area is at winner’s expense. Labor compensation will be negotiated with winner upon end of contest.
